Our second day in Paris (if you missed Part One, you can read it here!) consisted of a flea market, shopping, the Louvre, Notre Dame, Floral Shops and food!

After we grabbed our morning coffee, we ordered an uber and went to a flea market where we all walked away with some amazing items. I bought an old oil painting, a blue and white wall plate and an old post card with Notre Dame on it that was sent amongst friends during the 1500s. I could have purchased so much more, but, shocking I know, I was already pushing the limit on my carry-on and checked baggage (thanks to the Fosmon Digital Scale, I wasn’t over the weight limit (click here to purchase yours!).

After we left the flea market, we stopped in several floral shops, went by the Sacred Hear Basilica of Montmartre, the outside of The Louvre, the Arc de Triomphe du Carrousel and the Tuileries Garden. It was a full day!

Where we ate:

• Lunch: La Maison Rose – Such a quaint lunch spot! We escaped a torrential downpour and luckily, La Maison Rose had an empty table for four. The inside of the restaurant is small, so make sure you give yourself some time if you want to eat there!

• Dinner: Brasserie Lipp – We had the best steak at Brasserie Lipp.  I couldn’t tell you the last time I had steak in Germany, so it was a real treat! The ambiance was great and it was a fun dinner spot.

• Drinks: Ralph’s and Harry’s New York Bar – We stumbled upon Ralph’s randomly – the gorgeous patio and string lights drew us in and the inside of the restaurant was even dreamier! We had a couple of drinks here and ended up meeting some Americans during our after-dinner cocktail hour.  After we left Ralph’s we headed to Harry’s New York Bar which was everything America – a true gentlemen’s bar filled with sports paraphernalia and college banners.  We had a fun time spotting our favorite college and sports teams!
